The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the superior amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support level designed for intervention experiences a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to help the servicing of all buyers and improve entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency sassa status said.
